Cabazon Dinosaurs - World's Biggest Dinosaurs

The Cabazon Dinosaurs, located in Cabazon, California, are iconic roadside attractions featuring two massive dinosaur sculptures: Dinny the Dinosaur, a 150-foot-long Brontosaurus, and Mr. Rex, a 65-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus rex. Created by sculptor and theme park artist Claude K. Bell, construction began in 1964 to attract customers to his nearby restaurant, the Wheel Inn. Dinny was completed in 1975, and Mr. Rex in 1986. Over the years, these dinosaurs have appeared in various films and music videos, notably in "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" (1985).

Visitors can explore the open-air museum featuring over 100 dinosaur replicas, participate in a "dino dig" to unearth fossils, and pan for gemstones and fossils at the sluice. The gift shops, located within the museum and inside Dinny the Dinosaur, offer a wide range of dinosaur-themed merchandise. Seasonal events like "Dinosaur Nights in Lights" provide unique photo opportunities with the illuminated dinosaurs.
