The Huntington Library, Art Museum & Botanical Gardens (San Marino)

The Huntington is a world-renowned cultural campus with a research library, art galleries, and about 130 acres of botanical gardens—one of the best “full-day” spots near LA for peaceful walks, photo-worthy scenery, and museum time.

Don’t-miss areas: the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Desert Garden, and Rose Garden (plus rotating exhibitions inside the art museums).

Typically 10 AM–5 PM and closed Tuesdays.
