Music Box Steps (Silver Lake)

The Music Box Steps are a famous public staircase in Silver Lake made legendary by the 1932 Laurel & Hardy short film The Music Box, where they haul a piano up the steep steps. Today it’s a quick, fun photo stop + a mini workout with classic Silver Lake hillside views.

Tips
Parking: it’s mostly street parking in a residential area—go early for easier spots.
Best route: start at the bottom on Vendome St and climb up to Descanso Dr.
