Mulholland Scenic Overlook

This is one of those easy LA moments where you pull off a legendary road (Mulholland Drive), step out, and suddenly the city feels huge. You get wide, panoramic views (especially amazing at sunset when the sky goes orange and the lights start turning on). Mulholland Drive is famous for these scenic overlook stops.

Snap skyline + valley photos (golden hour is perfect).
Do a short “stop-and-go” viewpoint break while driving Mulholland.
Night views can be incredible—just follow posted rules/closing times.

Best time to visit: Sunset → dusk (best light + city lights starting up).
Go on a weekday if you want a calmer vibe.

Very limited turnout/shoulder-style parking—this spot is popular and fills up fast.
Don’t block traffic and always follow posted signs.
