Lompoc Flower Fields

The Lompoc Flower Fields, located in the "Valley of Arts and Flowers," are renowned for their vibrant displays of blooms from spring through fall. The region's flower industry began in the early 1900s with the cultivation of mustard for seed, and over time expanded to include a variety of flowers such as larkspur, stock, alyssum, delphinium, sweet peas, and marigolds. The valley's consistent temperate climate has made it ideal for flower cultivation, leading to its nickname as the "Valley of Flowers."
