Disneyland Resort (Anaheim)

Disneyland Resort is the full-on “storybook + thrills” experience, two major theme parks plus a big dining/shopping area. It’s not technically in Los Angeles (it’s in Anaheim, Orange County), but it’s one of the most common day trips tourists do from LA.

Downtown Disney: Free to enter (you pay for food/shopping).

Weekdays = less crowded (generally).
If you’re coming from LA, plan an early start to beat traffic.
