The Mosaic Tile House

The Mosaic Tile House is an eccentric, vibrant art home in Venice, California, created by artists Cheri Pann and Gonzalo Duran. Beginning in 1994, the couple transformed a modest 1940s bungalow into a living canvas by covering nearly every surface with colorful mosaic tiles and repurposed materials. Their evolving masterpiece celebrates creativity, community, and the playful spirit of Venice.

Visitors can join guided tours—typically held on Saturdays (hours vary by source, often between 12–3 pm or 1–4 pm). During the tour, you can admire the intricate mosaic artwork both inside and out, explore unique design details, and visit the on-site gift shop. Reservations are recommended.
