This is LA’s loud, busy, fun bargain zone, an outdoor shopping alley with tons of small stalls and shops packed into a couple blocks. It feels like a mini street market: you come for deals, snacks, people-watching, and that “DTLA energy.”

Great place if you like browsing and negotiating the “market” vibe.

Free to enter/walk around.

The LA Fashion District notes Santee Alley is open 7 days a week, rain or shine, including holidays.

Best time to visit: Weekday mornings for easier parking and less crowd.
Weekends are packed and lively.

There’s no on-site parking; you’ll use nearby paid lots/structures.
